This tech firm needed to move from its multi- building corporate headquarters to a new, unified corporate campus in San Jose, CA. The move included lab equipment, 1,100 employee offices and cubicles, 1,500 data center servers, and furnishings from 33 common area rooms, including artwork.
The company was also faced with decommissioning the former work sites using responsible equipment and furnishings disposal practices.
The Solution
We worked with the company’s executive and technology teams to develop a detailed scope of work and a three-phase physical relocation plan spanning two months. We served as the single point of contact for the client’s employees and the multiple, specialized contractors we brought on.
As is frequently the case, the project scope grew. We accommodated these additional requirements though our variable resources, ensuring that the project workflow continued to meet the client’s objectives.
Responsible disposal and resource conservation were important to the client. We coordinated the removal of used furniture, fixtures and equipment with the best recycling facilities and donation centers in the area.

The Result
Since we were brought into the process early, we could incorporate significant cost-saving measures and time-saving steps. And when the scope increased, our variable resources enabled us to keep to the original schedule. The project was completed on time and under budget. Thanks to our recycling and material reuse efforts, WeSolve saved the company nearly $90,000 in disposal costs.
